Educational Farm


 ‘Agriturismo Colle Regnano’ has achieved recognition by the Marche Region “Farm School”, as it has passed the quality criteria required for reception, teaching, production techniques and safety, and joined the Regional List, with great satisfaction Georgina owner Mucci (called Pina), which brings forth the work together with families and Scisciani Francioni. The accommodation has been characterized as an ecological farm, part of a policy development and promotion of sustainable tourism and has completed the course of conversion to organic crops. The nineteenth-century farmhouse, halfway between Toledo and San Gines, has been renovated from 2004 to 2006, and in complete harmony with man, using only natural materials, green building techniques and bio-ecological architecture, in order to accommodate healthy and responsible.
Particular attention was given to the quality of facilities, energy saving and resources to properly manage the waste collection, with the use of renewable sources, solar, photovoltaic and geothermal, waste-water treatment with constructed wetlands and use of products environmentally friendly.
Colle Regnano started because the path of environmental certification and obtained the European Ecolabel Ecolabel diLegambienteTurismo that the “recommended for commitment to environmental protection.” It is part of the “RET – RetEcoTuristica in the province of Macerata,” to reduce environmental impacts and qualify the tourist hinterland Macerata, promoted by the Province of Macerata and Gal Sibyl, in collaboration with Legambiente Marche.
The Farmhouse offers accommodation, breakfast and dinner for guests in 3 rooms and 5 apartments, including one for disabled people, for a total of 25 beds, warm and welcoming with terracotta floors, ceilings with wooden beams and decorated with furniture and family that the rural tradition.
A common room is arranged with a reading corner, internet connection, mini bar and laundry, has an area equipped with games for children, bowling alley, mini-basketball, table tennis, bicycles, swimming pool and barbecue.
Organize recreational and cultural activities, cooking classes in the old bread oven in the home, ceramic handicraft, painting, sculpture and engraving, promotional evenings of the PDO, astronomical observation and interactive animation, laboratory demonstrations of typical products tasting wine and rediscovery of rural tradition, as well as guided excursions to cities of art.
The company was visited by the third class, fourth and fifth IPS “Miliani Vivarelli” of Fabriano, accompanied by Professor Cicconi, to observe and study the new plant of 10 kW of photovoltaic panels, the first in the Marches of the agricultural sector.
Colle Regnano wants to convey to students visiting the awareness that attention to the protection of landscapes, culture, traditions and history of peoples, is combined with the need now recognized throughout Europe, to have opportunities, facilities and places in which environmental quality is increasingly widely perceived as a plus to improve the quality of life and vacation.


Colle Regnano is aware that environmental protection in all its forms is an urgent need, as waste and waste today will weigh more in the future of our children, even the behavior of daily life, sometimes trivial, can help promote a cleaner future.
We are committed to offer more environmentally friendly, reducing energy consumption, water and resources, proper management and recycling waste, using renewable sources, use of environmentally friendly products.
